On Tuesday, June 17, 2003, the World War II Lecture Institute will present the fifth program of their 6th year
at Abington Library, Abington, PA. The speaker will be George Kay of Brown's Mills, NJ. His talk will cover his
WWII experiences as a Tech. Sgt. on B-24 bombers over both Europe and Pacific operations with the U.S. Army's 7th
Air Force, 11th Bomb Group.
The title of his talk will be "World War II As I Knew It". George was both a radar operator and gunner
and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) for extraordinary achievement in aerial flight against the
enemy.
Two programs will be available, one at 3:00 P.M. and another at 7:00 P.M. Each program will run about one hour
with a question and answer period following, Also, a brief one-half hour social period will precede each lecture.
Our WWII programs are free and open to the public. However, seating is limited and reservations are required. Please

While our WW II programs are free and open to all, your donations are most welcomed and needed to help us continue
